Best way to welcome 2013! =D

I decided to check my old e mail address today, and realized that someone has bought my painting a week ago! It's not even the money part that makes me happy, it's the fact that people out there enjoy what I am doing, and believes that it's worth something!   I've never actually thought about people wanting to buy my art...  Maybe I am being some what dramatic, but I cannot believe someone out there likes it enough to want it in their home!  I've always spent time on art for myself, but knowing that it could bring joy to others just drives me to want to take it even further.  Thank you so much to my friends who have always been so supportive of me.
Cheers! Have an amazing new year's eve.
GET FUCKING DRUNK TONIGHT!

Spring 2013 ready to wear

Two designers that has caught my eyes this season are Milly and Korma Kamali
Let's start with Milly. I do not think there is one outfit from her Spring collection I wouldn't wear.  Loving the geometric color blocking, netting of the material, and how sporty some of the pieces are yet classy at the same time.  Some of my favorites are as followed:

Korma Kamali
I was not in love with the whole collection but there are a few pieces that really caught my eyes, especially with the embellishment and the crochet effect.

reminds me of a dream catcher

50 shades of blue

After the rain, came the sunshine.  I had the Sunday all to myself- 4 more days until I leave for California then Boston.  I started a new painting. (hopefully I can finish that before I head out)  Later on in the day, I pulled out some old sweatshirts and bleached the shit out of them.

when all fails and nothing feels right, throw on some boyfriend jeans and a comfy shirt for an effortless look.  Finish off with a pair of pumps for that missing "umph".
